Entrepreneur as Artist – A Winding Road Embraced

My Unexpected Pathways Chapter is called Entrepreneur as Artist – A Winding Road Embraced.  In it, I present to you my unique journey and “road map” through a life of passionate creativity and entrepreneurship.   This story begins in youth with a large family and demanding parents, travels through school and a varied work-life, with all the bumps and roadblocks one often encounters. Throughout my journey, I have been blessed with friendships and mentors who have guided me along the way.  At the end of my chapter, I hoped to show that in my life as an artist and entrepreneur, I continue to create and inspire others to dare to take a winding and wonderful journey of their own. In writing the chapter, I hope to inspire and offer encouragement to others who may have felt like their life is a jumble of wrong turns or changes.  There are no “wrong turns” in life.   All one’s past experiences are like “test-drives” and contribute to one’s beautifully constructed road of relationships and adventures.

I would also like to add these few words of advice from the heart and soul of a person dedicated to the Arts: Find a way to create something that is just YOU. If you Sing, Dance, Paint, Take Photographs, Sew, Cook, Write Stories or Poetry, Build, Garden, etc. share your unique voice with others. Yes, your painting won’t look like mine and your story will be different, but it will be YOU. How wonderfully positive for the world!
