My journey began in a one-room schoolhouse before my family moved to a small town. I later went to state college – a dream that at one point seemed out of reach. I moved on to a career in the military. Now, I am an entrepreneur, owning my own business, Picky Parents.net. I have seen the world, and it is good. I’ve loved my journey, not every minute, but every opportunity, every lesson, every challenge – blessings that have made me do, learn, grow. It is my hope that my story inspires other girls and women to give it all they’ve got.
